Conditional planning permission has been granted for an inert waste recycling facility in the Green Belt at Birchall Lane, Welwyn Garden City. The scheme includes a new HGV maintenance workshop; areas of stockpiling; administrative and staff facilities; and landscape enhancements. CSA’s landscape team prepared the restoration strategy for the site and the LVIA, on behalf of the site operator, BP Mitchell Ltd.
