Friday 29th April saw the official opening of the East Anton Sports Pavilion and sports pitches by the Mayor of Test Valley. The event was attended by representatives of Taylor Wimpey, Test Valley Borough Council and CSA and marks the completion of a much needed and valued resource for the local community. The facility will provide 5 new senior pitches, 3 mini football pitches, a cricket pitch and an artificial playing surface and children’s play area together with a new pavilion and 10 changing rooms.
As part of the urban extension at East Anton, CSA have been involved from the outset of the project, from the planning and design stages through to the implementation, maintenance and subsequent LPA adoption of the sports pitches and associated recreational open space. It is hugely satisfying for all involved to see the new facility open and ready for use.
