CSA Environmental has been part of a multidisciplinary team looking at a Flood Alleviation Scheme (FAS) in the village of Hampstead Norreys. Working on behalf of West Berkshire Council and alongside consultant engineers Odyssey, CSA has provided ecological and arboricultural advice. The flood alleviation scheme will provide a diversion channel across agricultural land to control the water levels in the River Pang. By diverting any overflow water into the new channel, this offers flooding protection for the centre of Hampstead Norreys.
