This week, committee members at Surrey Heath Borough Council voted in favour of a resolution to grant planning permission for a scheme of 41 new residential dwellings on the edge of the village of West End in Chobham, Surrey. The scheme was designed by ECE Architects, for the developer Taylor Wimpey and was conceived as a sensitive extension of the existing approved housing scheme to the immediate south. Both CSA’s ecology and landscape teams were instrumental in ensuring the successful approval of the application by ensuring the development was respectful to the existing site ecology and in creating a quality scheme with landscape at its heart.
