Central Bedfordshire Council have resolved to grant outline planning consent for 25 new homes in the village of Maulden, near Ampthill. Working closely with Bedford based J&J Design, CSA prepared the masterplan and Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment which accompanied the planning application. Due the site’s relationship with the Maulden Woods SSSI, the masterplan had to provide a buffer zone between the proposed new and the existing woodland in order to provide an appropriate degree of ecological and arboricultural protection.
