CSA has been working closely with Spitfire Homes to develop proposals for a sensitive site in the village of Pirton, Hertfordshire, for the construction of 24 new houses and associated open space. Having already successfully assisted in attaining outline consent for the site, CSA’s landscape team worked-up a set of detailed landscape proposals to support the reserved matters application, which included proposals for a new area of open space on an existing field to the north, which is designated as a Scheduled Monument and so required close liaison with the Historic England and the appointed ecologists.
