CSA Environmental are pleased to announce that our client Barwood Land has successfully secured a resolution to grant outline planning permission for 370 homes on the edge of Kidlington, Oxfordshire. CSA provided landscape, ecological, urban design, heritage, and arboricultural services in support of the outline planning application.
This key project milestone is the culmination of six years’ work, which started with promotion of the site to the Cherwell Local Plan Partial Review to remove it from the Greenbelt, agreeing a Development Brief, extensive stakeholder engagement, and finally getting the application to committee.
The new homes will be supported by 4 hectares of sports pitches, a community sports facilities, allotments, and two children’s play areas.
