Congratulations to our team for their part in helping deliver planning approval for a new Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace (SANG) and car park that balances housing growth with biodiversity gains.

We identified the ecological sensitivity of the Chilterns Beechwoods Special Area of Conservation to recreation and worked to provide a mitigation solution for nearby residential developments. Our team reviewed and identified a range of potential SANG sites, and ultimately provided landscape, visual and Green Belt advice, detailed design proposals, along with ecological and heritage guidance for a planning application at this Site. While the application was initially refused, our robust evidence and design work helped overturn the decision and secure approval.
