Ben is a Chartered Landscape Architect, Design West panel member and Building with Nature Assessor and is a member of the Senior Management Team at CSA Environmental.
He has worked on a wide range of projects for private, public and third-sector clients, including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, strategic urban extensions, Green Infrastructure strategies and estate regeneration, often in sensitive contexts. He regularly acts as an expert witness for landscape, Green Belt and design matters and co-authored the Landscape Institute’s Technical Guidance Note for Townscape Assessment. Ben believes strongly in design as both a process and an outcome and the importance of understanding place and the wider context to underpin projects and deliver memorable and cherished places.
