Charlie joined CSA in 2023, having gained consultancy experience elsewhere on a variety of smaller-scale projects. His work and interests have led him to specialise in bats and he has conducted numerous roost assessments and activity surveys. Charlie is a volunteer bat carer in Sussex, as well as volunteering with the Hampshire Wildlife Trust conducting dormouse monitoring. Charlie holds a level 1 license to survey bats and great crested newts and has recently gained his PID Level 3 for botanical surveying. He hopes to further develop his botany skills and use of GIS mapping software to support his work in Biodiversity Net Gain.
