Kate combines an enviable natural history knowledge with an understanding and keen appreciation of development and planning. She specialises in protected species survey and mitigation work for breeding birds and reptiles, as well as bats, barn owl and great crested newts for which she holds Natural England survey licenses.
Kate also has extensive experience of mitigation licensing, Environmental Impact Assessment, HRA, habitat survey and assessment for a range of clients and development types. She edits a local natural-history journal and is actively involved with voluntary bird and bat surveys within Gloucestershire. Kate is a Full member of CIEEM.
