Philippa holds a Master’s degree from The University of Sheffield in Landscape Architecture where she won the Landscape Institute (Yorkshire & the Humber) Award for Design Excellence in 2016 for her special design project. She is also a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute. Philippa has a background in Human Geography having studied for her Undergraduate degree at Lancaster University and University of British Columbia (Vancouver), which has provided her with a professional outlook to design and planning focused on the relationship between society, environment and place. She is also a visiting tutor to the Department of Landscape at the University of Sheffield.
Philippa has been working in private practice for six years. She has experience in a wide variety of projects, including residential, mixed use and commercial. Her work on these projects have included the design of landscape masterplans and strategies to accompany outline and full planning applications, as well as the preparation of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments, Green Belt Assessments and promotional documents.
