CSA has played a leading role in the promotion and master planning of the East Anton MDA. In the deposit draft Local Plan the site was allocated for 2,500 dwellings. CSA provided evidence at the Local Plan Inquiry to demonstrate how the site could be developed in a sustainable manner. The Local Plan Inspector, whose findings were accepted by Test Valley Borough Council, endorsed such an approach. Following allocation of the site, CSA prepared the detailed masterplan, design codes and landscape strategy. Outline planning permission was granted in 2008. CSA have remained involved with the site and are overseeing the implementation of the public realm and landscape infrastructure.
