Outline planning permission was granted, on appeal, for 50 new homes on a greenfield site at Inholms Farm, Horley. CSA were instructed by Rey Construction to advise on ecology and landscape and to prepare the site masterplan. The outcome of this multi-disciplinary approach was to produce a well-considered, sensitive scheme that went far beyond mitigating the impacts of the development. The benefit of this was recognised by the Inspector who, in granting consent, concluded that the totality of the landscape and ecological benefits should be afforded significant weight in determining the appeal.
