Our approach
We identified the ecological sensitivity of the Chilterns Beechwoods Special Area of Conservation to recreation and worked to provide a mitigation solution for nearby residential developments. Our team reviewed and identified a range of potential SANG sites, and ultimately provided landscape, visual and Green Belt advice, detailed design proposals, along with ecological and heritage guidance for a planning application at this Site. While the application was initially refused, our robust evidence and design work helped overturn the decision and secure approval.
