CSA have been advising the Abbey Manor Group for several years on the landscape effects of developing a 48 hectare site on the northern edge of Yeovil. Our initial work involved undertaking a detailed LVIA and proving advice to the client on the potential for development on the site. This work was then used to support representations to the Local Plan.
Following the initial work, an outline planning application for a mixed use development, including 765 new homes, employment uses, recreation open space and a site for a Primary School was prepared. Throughout the preparation of the application we have worked closely with Officers of SSDC and other stakeholders to ensure the best environmental fit for the development. The application, which is accompanied by an ES, is awaiting determination.
