CSA were commissioned by Kimberley Developments to undertake a Landscape and Visual Appraisal for a 18,000 sq.ft Waitrose foodstore on the site of the Sidney House car park, Torrington, Devon. The site occupies a sensitive location within the Torrington Conservation Area, close to the ridge of the Torridge Vallley. To enable the impact of the scheme to be properly assessed, CSA prepared a detailed LVIA which considered the effects of the proposed development on both the neighbouring countryside and the conservation area. CSA also prepared the detailed landscape scheme for the development.
We are pleased to say that the scheme secured planning consent in February 2015.
