Protected species survey & mitigation
With extensive survey and mitigation experience in relation to a wide range of protected / notable fauna, we can ensure that projects meet planning and legal requirements.
Our ecologists hold survey and development licences for European protected species including bats, great crested newts and dormice. More importantly, we also have the knowledge and experience to resolve protected species constraints and advise on the best route for mitigation from bespoke on-site solutions to contributing to strategic mitigation initiatives (e.g. District Level Licencing).
