Bat surveys

We have Natural England licensed bat workers at all our offices and we have a wealth of experience with bat mitigation and licensing work, which we know can be complicated and time critical.

Bat surveys are subject to seasonal constraints. We recommend that potential bat issues be investigated at an early stage to minimise delays and to give you confidence that your project will move smoothly through the planning and construction phases.

Our bat surveys include building/tree inspections, roost emergence/re-entry surveys, night-time bat walkover surveys (formally called ‘transects’), static detector surveys and trapping surveys to confirm species identifications. Unlike many smaller firms, we have a large in-house resource in terms of equipment and staff enabling us to tackle large or complex sites without complications.

For more information, or to obtain a quote on bat survey costs, please email us with a location plan, photographs or other details.
