Bat surveys are subject to seasonal constraints. We recommend that potential bat issues be investigated at an early stage to minimise delays and to give you confidence that your project will move smoothly through the planning and construction phases.
Our bat surveys include Preliminary Roost Assessments (PRA), Ground-Level Tree Assessments (GLTA), emergence/re-entry surveys (assisted by Night Vision Aids (NVAs), night-time bat walkover surveys (formally called ‘transects’), static detector surveys and trapping surveys to confirm species identification. Unlike many smaller firms, we have a large in-house resource in terms of equipment and staff enabling us to tackle large or complex sites without complications.
